  • Port checks, patching, labeling and cable clean-up
  • Asset tagging, inventory, shipping/receiving
  • Escort & vendor coordination
Tier 2 • AI & High-Density

CriticalOps AI & GPU Rack Services

Purpose-built for AI, HPC and high-density clusters, where rack density, thermals and uptime risk are non-negotiable.

  • GPU/H100/H200/L40-class server installs and swaps
  • AI rack density and airflow checks
  • Liquid-cooling manifold connect/disconnect (with OEM guidance)
  • Rear-door heat exchanger inspections

  • Incident response & triage with your NOC
  • Move-in/move-out and migration support
  • Decommissioning and cage consolidation
Tier 4 • Projects

CriticalOps Projects & Migrations

Coverage & SLA

Zone-based response times built for realism

Northern Virginia traffic is real. We offer tiered SLAs by geography so commitments are operationally realistic and sustainable—without over-promising.

Zone A • Core
Ashburn, Sterling, Data-Center Alley and immediate surrounding clusters.
Primary colocation facilities and hyperscale campuses.
Standard: 2-hour
Premium: 1-hour (retainer only)
Zone B • Extended
Reston, Herndon, Tysons, Chantilly, Dulles corridor office parks.
Standard: 4-hour
Best-effort: 2-hour (case-by-case)
Zone C • Edge
Manassas, Leesburg, Western Loudoun and outlying edge or industrial sites.
Standard: 4-hour
Premium: Scoped by SOW

Premium 1-hour SLA is reserved for retainer clients with predictable ticket volume in Zone A. This ensures we can staff accordingly and maintain a high hit rate on critical response.

Not sure which zone your facility is in? Share your colo and address when you reach out and we’ll confirm the applicable SLAs before we sign an agreement.

All SLAs apply to confirmed tickets during agreed service hours. Force-majeure events (e.g., region-wide weather, major incidents) are handled via best-effort escalation and communication protocols.

Engagement Model

How Apex CriticalOps works with you

We keep the process simple: clear intake, predictable communication, and repeatable playbooks so your internal teams always know what’s happening in the data center.

Step 1
Capabilities & onboarding

We review your facilities, workload types (AI, general compute, storage, network), and current remote-hands pain points. Then we define applicable zones, SLAs and access procedures for each data-center location.

Step 2
Retainer & rate structure

Most customers choose a monthly retainer for predictable coverage, with a blended rate card for standard and AI/high-density tasks. Ad-hoc, project-based and partner models are also available.

Step 3
Ticketing, dispatch & reporting

You submit tickets via your preferred method (portal, email, or integrated workflow). Our team dispatches technicians, executes work against agreed SOPs, and returns photos, notes and change logs once complete.

About Apex CriticalOps

Apex CriticalOps was founded to bridge the gap between traditional remote-hands services and the realities of AI-driven, high-density data-center environments in Northern Virginia.

We are a specialized, independent smart-hands provider focused on mission-critical workloads: dense GPU clusters, liquid-cooled racks, and high-value tenant environments.

Our team blends data-center field experience with modern operational rigor—SOPs, documentation, and clear SLAs—so operators, tenants and MSPs can rely on a single partner across multiple colos.

Apex CriticalOps is headquartered in the Northern Virginia data-center corridor, enabling local coverage with an enterprise-grade mindset.
